The thick adobe keeps cool the very authentic, cottage-style rooms with green wooden doors and raftered ceilings. The low brass beds face windows overlooking the splendid central courtyard, and the tiny doors lead to a handsome dining room with an antique table and adjacent library. The small bathrooms with chessboard tiling and bamboo ceilings only add to what is a genuine and good-value experience. The estancia also organizes horseback riding excursions.
